Why We Fundraise: Making a Splash in Our Community
Dive into fun with YMCA of Alaska’s kids triathlon fundraiser! Make a splash and help us enhance our aquatics programs, creating a splashtacular impact on our community. Your participation and support will truly make a difference. Here’s what we’re diving into: expanding swim lessons, water safety classes, and competitive swim programs to ensure every child learns and excels in the water; granting over $700,000 in scholarships last year to make our programs accessible to all; improving and maintaining our pools and equipment for a safe and enjoyable environment; supporting water safety education and reaching remote regions with swim lessons and safety training; and developing young leaders in aquatics through training and mentorship programs. Together, we will create a sea of opportunities for kids to learn, grow, and make a splash in life. Thank you for being part of this important cause!
