Strength in Unity: Survivor & Support Network
Join us on the first Wednesday of every month for ‘Strength in Unity: Survivor Support Network,’ a warm and inviting space designed exclusively for cancer survivors, their loved ones, and close friends. This monthly gathering is more than just an event – it’s a sanctuary where individuals can come together to build connections, share stories, and offer each other unwavering support in a caring and compassionate environment.

Purpose:
“Strength in Unity” aims to create a supportive community where participants can:
- Share personal experiences and coping strategies
- Connect with others who understand the journey of cancer survival
- Gain emotional and social support from fellow survivors, family members, and friends
- Participate in discussions led by experienced facilitators
Activities:
Each session will feature a mix of structured activities and open discussions, including:
- Guest speakers on relevant health and wellness topics
- Group discussions and sharing circles
- Mindfulness and relaxation techniques
- Resource sharing and informational sessions
Who Can Attend:
This group is open to all cancer survivors, their families, and friends. Whether you are in remission, currently undergoing treatment, or supporting a loved one, you are welcome to join us.
How to Join:
No prior registration is necessary. Simply come to the YMCA of Alaska on the designated day and time.
